George K. Laney, Sr. (grandfather) from Renton, WA first rebuilt this car and was towed to Columbia, SC
in the fall of 1961. I started driving it to A.C. Flora High School, Columbia, SC the same year. Then put in
storage in the summer of 1963 as we moved to Bad Kreuznach, Germany where I finished high school in 1966.
I briefly drove the car while in the army. 1970 I got out of the army and moved to Enterprise, AL where I brought car
out of storage and had it painted butter scotch. Car went back into storage around 1980 where it sat till August 2004.
